Eight Seconds Rodeo is pleased to announce our scholarship program for aspiring equestrians! This scholarship is designed to help students who are passionate about learning horsemanship but may not have the financial resources to pursue this dream.
To apply, students are required to complete an application form and submit an essay or video explaining why they want to learn horsemanship. The essay or video should demonstrate the student’s desire to learn to ride and maintain horses and how this scholarship will remove a barrier to fulfill that desire.
The scholarship committee will evaluate applications based on a range of factors, including passion for horses, creativity, financial need, academic achievements, previous experience with horses, and availability of resources in the community.
The scholarship program will cover the costs of lessons and training for a set period, as determined by the scholarship committee. Recipients will work with a trainer or instructor to develop their skills.
